Hi Mia,

Here’s the latest of Stanley’s adventures:

·         Stanley hanging out with his buddy Noah
·         Stanley helped raise money for cancer at a Relay for Life, “MargaRELAYville” event
·         Then took a rest under a palm tree
·         Stanley took a trip to the eye doctor’s . . . good news, 20/20

This was a slow week, but we have more “adventures” planned for this weekend before his return to you.

Yesterday . . . .

· Stanley volunteered at a Book Fair at the Children’s Rehabilitation Center.
· He had fun with the Hawaiian theme of the book fair

o We looked for a Flat Stanley book, but there wasn't one.

· He also supported some of our local sports teams

o Cleveland Indians

o Ohio State Buckeyes

o Hung out with “Penny” the YSU Penguin (Youngstown State University)

Colin's Stanley visits Kansas

Class,

Today Flat Stanley took a ride with me on an Apache Helicopter around Manhattan, Kansas. I am a helicopter pilot in the Army. He tried on my helmet and looked through my computer screen that covers one of my eyes when I fly. Stanley puts safety first and made sure to wear his seatbelt when he flies just like when he rides in a car. He posed for a picture in front of the helicopter with me and my friend Justin. Stanley liked hanging around different parts of the helicopter.

Stanley in Florida

Hello.
We have been having a blast with Flat Stanley. He is visiting me in Florida and the weather has been excellent. So far he has spent a day at the animal hospital, been to Anna Maria Island to see the beautiful beach and spent a day on the farm in Dade City. He is getting very tired. Please thank Amari for including me in this fun project. We laminated her flat Stanley so he could endure all of our adventures. I am emailing pictures from my phone. Please let me know if you have any problems getting them.
